Hungarian foreign minister would give Nobel Peace Prize to Trump!
Péter Szijjártó said that during his visit to the United Arab Emirates. He added that only Trump’s Middle-East peace plan was effective, so he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize.
According to blikk.hu, Szijjártó said that only the so-called Abraham Accords were effective in solving the problems of the region. All other plans were unsuccessful, he added. The Abraham Accords are a joint statement between the State of Israel, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States reached on August 13 2020. Therefore,
Trump deserves the Nobel Peace Prize,
Szijjártó highlighted.
That is not the first time that the Hungarian foreign minister would give the prize to Donald Trump. In September 2020, in an interview with pro-Trump channel One America Network, Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó spoke about that initiative. When asked about the chances of the American President winning the Nobel Prize he had been nominated for, Szijjártó (who was the only foreign minister from the EU who got invited to the signing ceremony of the Israel-UAE-Bahrain peace deal), was quite confident that Trump deserved the acknowledgement as it would be a “realistic reflection” on what he had done.
“For what else a Nobel Prize could be given if not for a peace accord?”
